Camp with a straight face is an art, and this space-station comedy nails the tone. A newly appointed XO (Liv Tyler) steps into a hornet's nest of petty rivalries under Patrick Wilson's rakish captain, and the movie treats retro sci-fi design as a playground for character foibles. The jokes land because the actors play the nonsense like gospel; with Matt Bomer and Marisa Coughlan.
