Jolly,pete Trio - Sweet September - Vinyl Record

This 1964 recording by pianist Pete Jolly is among his finest assisted by bassist Chuck Berghofer and drummer Larry Bunker (two of the ten numbers have Nick Martinis on drums and the addition of guitarist Howard Roberts), Jolly mostly performs melodic and easy-listening music, stretching out a bit on "Yours Is My Heart Alone," "There Is No Greater Love" and "Can't We Be Friends." Although trying to be commercial, Jolly cannot help swinging.
