By contrast, the serene colors of the Tenth Symphony avoid political connotations, and the piece is stylistically typical of the composer's last decade in it's technical virtuosity, formal elegance and brilliant artistic design. The Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra was established in 1929 as the first professional symphony orchestra in Slovakia.
